THE BARCHESSA OF VILLA DONÀ DELLE ROSE
TIMELESS BEAUTY

AN OASIS OF HISTORY AND CHARM IN THE HEART OF VENETIAN TRADITION
EXPERIENCE THE ELEGANCE OF A HISTORIC RESIDENCE IMMERSED IN HISTORY, COMFORT, AND INNOVATION
The Barchessa of Villa Donà delle Rose is part of an 18th-century historic complex located near the center of Santo Stefano di Zimella, in the province of Verona. This residence, characterized by its elegant Palladian architecture, belongs to an estate that also includes a grand manor house, a neoclassical oratory, a Colombara tower, and a large walled garden known as a “brolo.”
Built in 1793 by Paolo Donà, the Barchessa stands out for its majestic portico supported by monumental columns, and for the former steward’s house featuring a distinctive arch and a projecting balcony. Throughout its long history, the villa has served various purposes: from noble residence, to military hospital during World War I, and later as the town hall until 1960.
Today, the Barchessa is considered one of the most significant historic buildings in the province of Verona — a place where the past and architectural elegance blend in a setting rich in charm and history.

Residenze La Barchessa is much more than a simple residence: it is a retreat where timeless beauty, history, and modernity coexist in perfect harmony. The majestic portico, supported by imposing columns, and the original wooden beams of the roof tell centuries of stories, creating a captivating atmosphere that brings the past back to life.
Nestled in a large private courtyard with over 10,000 square meters of garden and an exclusive swimming pool, Residenze La Barchessa offers a unique experience of relaxation and serenity, despite being located in the historic center of the village.
Thanks to its strategic position, between Verona and Vicenza — both reachable in about 30 minutes — and its proximity to the Soave-San Bonifacio and Montebello Vicentino motorway exits, Residenze La Barchessa is the perfect place for those seeking a luxurious, comfortable, and convenient getaway.
